Academics

As rightly pointed out by Ignacio Estrada, “If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should change the way we teach.” The Kindergarten program focuses on nurturing the inherent curiosity in children by way of providing them with opportunities to explore in a fun-filled and safe environment. Our low student: teacher ratio helps to provide individual attention. Children are encouraged to express their views freely and communicate effectively in a confident manner in English as well as in their mother tongue.

Our preprimary program helps in seamless transition from preprimary to primary. A well-balanced theme-based curriculum helps in holistic development of children by student centric process which helps developing intelligences such as Visual-Spatial, Linguistic-Verbal, Logical-Mathematical, Body-Kinesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal and Naturalistic. The program focuses on various individual and group activities in a positive environment through various programs such as music, dance, art and craft, singing and reciting rhymes, phonics. There is a lot of focus on building independence in students by motivating them to complete their own task such as packing bags, eating on their own, sharing belongings and working in a team.

There is also a lot of focus on physical education and interaction with professional sports coaches help in developing gross motor skills and instill awareness and interest in sports. Celebrating of various festivals helps them to know more about our country’s beautiful culture and traditions.

Primary& Middle school encourages competence in various skills such as reading, writing, problem solving, public speaking and use of ICT tools. A wide range of curricular and co-curricular activities via Fine Arts, Music, Dance, Yoga, health education helps children become confident learners. Social initiatives called ‘ParamarthAbhiyan’ to develop compassion and feeling of doing something for the society help students become valuable and responsible citizens of the country.

The main objectives of Primary program are as follows:

  • Following NCERT based curriculum alongwith combining best international practices to enhance academic potential of students.
  • Building foundation in subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, Sciences & Social Sciences.
  • Enhancement in public speaking, developing competitive and team spirit by various inter-house, inter-class and inter-school competitions, cultural events and school functions.
  • Students begin to contribute in school assemblies and take up various roles in school events.

Primary & Secondary school comprises of students from Grade 1 to 10. The minimum age of the child seeking admission for Grade 1 is 6 years as on 1st June.
School Timings are as below:

Monday to Friday - 7:45a.m to 2:00p.m.
Saturday – 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.

In these sections, competence in various skills such as reading, writing, problem solving, public speaking and use of ICT tools. Teachers act as facilitators whereby they encourage students to be self-reliant. Teachers are trained so that they can develop the activities, projects, learning materials and resources which focus on making sure that the students understand the concept rather than rote learning. Subjects covered: English, Hindi, Gujarati, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Science, ICT, P.E.

A wide range of co-curricular activities are also conducted such as Visual Arts, Vocal and instrumental Music, Dance, Yoga, Physical health education. Apart from this school has impeccable infrastructure for sports such as Badminton, Tennis, Basket Ball, Volley ball, etc. These help children become confident learners.

Our students and staff led social initiative called ‘ParamarthAbhiyan’ helps to develop compassion and feeling of doing something for the society help students become valuable and responsible citizens of the country.

In Secondary, the program emphasizes on child’s over-all development by offering diverse opportunities in academics as well as other essential co-curricular activities. Since our school is affiliated to CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (C.B.S.E.). NCERT curriculum is followed.

We understand each child’s journey and to facilitate his learning, regular remedial coaching is conducted. To prepare the pupil to their best potential, class X students appear for 2 preliminary examinations while class XII for 4 preliminary examinations respectively. Thorough evaluation of pupil’s academic performance at regular intervals by educators in collaboration with parents enables the children to progress competently.
